1. Using Where is Mine
Where is Mine is a free, community-run platform for posting lost and found items so neighbors can help return them. By using the service you agree to these terms and to our community guidelines. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
2. Not a marketplace
Where is Mine exists to return items, not to sell them. You may not list items for sale, demand payment to return found property, or use the service for any commercial transaction. Optional rewards offered by an owner are a private matter between members and are never collected or guaranteed by Where is Mine.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos and descriptions you post. By posting, you grant Where is Mine a limited license to display that content on the platform. You're responsible for what you post — only list items you actually lost or found, and don't post anyone else's belongings without their knowledge.
4. Acceptable conduct
Be honest and be kind. Don't harass, threaten, or deceive other members, and don't post unlawful, misleading, or harmful content. We may remove listings and suspend accounts that break these terms or our guidelines.
5. Verifying ownership
Where is Mine does not verify the identity of members or confirm rightful ownership of any item. Always ask for identifying details before handing something over, and follow our safety guidance when meeting.
6. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Where is Mine is not responsible for the conduct of members, the accuracy of listings, or the outcome of any meeting or exchange arranged through the platform.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes we'll note them here and update the date below. Continuing to use Where is Mine after a change means you accept the revised terms.
